A consumer is an individual who buys, uses, and then disposes
of goods or services. As a consumer, you expect to get your
monies worth when purchasing a product. Unhappily, this is not
always the case. Often a product does not perform as
advertised. Your first course of action should be to contact
the company by phone. If the response is not satisfactory, the
next step is to write a consumer complaint letter. Explain in
detail the nature of your complaint, and include "copies" of
any receipts. If not satisfied after allowing a reasonable
time for response, contact the Better Business Bureau.
